Mass for Richard L. Garrity, 56, a structural and civil engineer for the Illinois Department of Transportation, will be said at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Crystal Lake. Mr. Garrity, of Crystal Lake, died Thursday in Rockford Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; a daughter, Cheryle Lynn Lancaster; a son, James; a granddaughter; and three sisters.
