– Jerome Andrews, Oak Park-The senior won the individual title at the Class AA state golf tournament, shooting 75-77-152.
– Julie Bremner, Wheaton St. Francis-The senior had 22 setting assists, eight blocks and six kills as St. Francis beat Benet Academy 15-5, 15-11 in volleyball.
– Chris Herb, Lisle-The junior ran for 258 yards on 25 carries and scored three TDs to lead Lisle over Peotone 36-27.
– Karen Kulick, Oak Park-The senior was eight-for-eight serving with two aces and had 14 kills on 29-31 passing as Oak Park beat Jacksonville in the Maine West volleyball tournament.
– Tom McManus, Wheeling-The senior linebacker had eight tackles and an interception and returned a fumble 30 yards for a touchdown as his team upset Hersey 28-17.
– Calvin Miles, Glenbard North-The senior tailback ran for 183 yards on 25 carries and scored two TDs as Glenbard upset Naperville Central 32-22.
– Mike Rummell, Streamwood-The junior receiver grabbed 11 passes for 122 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-0 rout of West Aurora.
– Blake Stepien, St. Charles-He won the individual title in the Upstate Eight cross country meet, covering 3 miles in 15 minutes flat.
– Mindy Weiner, Maine East-She upset Julie McKeon of Glenbrook North 6-2, 6-4 to win the title at the Maine South tennis sectional.
– Wendy Welch, Naperville Central-The junior won the Du Page Valley Conference cross country meet with a meet-record 12:36 time over the 2.2-mile course.
