Stephen Chapman, in his April 14 column, states that Americans have no qualms about banning the possession of machine guns. Now, I don`t know about Illinois, but here in Indiana anybody who wants to can buy as many machine guns as he wants-provided he`s not a certified maniac, convicted felon, communist or pot smoker.
Myself, I think machine guns are for sissies. I want to exercise my constitutional right to bear real arms: nuclear ICBM`s. Remember,
thermonuclear devices don`t kill people, people kill people.
