The Glad Bags Division of Glad Wrap, a subsidiary of First Brands Corp., plans to build a research and development facility on Adams Street between Tanglewood Lane and Cottonwood Court in Willowbrook.
The Willowbrook Village Board approved the subdivision of the 2-acre lot on Monday so that the 28,000-square-foot facility can be built. And village officials said that the building could be completed this fall.
”The proposed use of the land is in conformity with the (village`s)
comprehensive plan,” said John T. Fay, director of community development.
