– E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. and DNA Plant Technology Corp. will work on developing and commercializing ”superior branded produce” derived from biotechnological techniques. Du Pont also will buy 1.5 million shares of DNA Plant`s common stock at $4.50 a share, bringing its stake in DNA Plant to nearly 10 percent.
