Favorite childhood memory: My family visiting me at Campion High, a Jesuit prep school in Wisconsin.
I`ve never been able to: Work with John Huston.
I`m better than anyone else when it comes to: Remembering phone numbers.
A really great evening to me is: A rare date with my wife. We`d probably see a movie or a play, maybe have dinner and then find a cheap motel.
My fantasy is: I`m producing Broadway musicals.
People who knew me in high school thought I was: I don`t know what they thought. I was just kind of there.

The best time of my life: My years at Second City, from 1974 to 1980.
The worst time of my life: When I first moved to California in 1980. I was working a lot for the typical Los Angeles actor, but after Second City, it felt like there was a huge amount of inactivity. Second City was so intense. We did eight shows a week, 52 weeks a year.
My most humbling experience: Getting booed off the stage at Second City.
The worst part of my job is: Drinking warm fake beer all day and pretending it tastes good.
