– The Elk Grove Park District is conducting a ”do-it-yourself”
landscape design class with the help of staff from Berthold Nursery. The six- hour class runs on three nights (6 to 8 p.m.) Feb. 19, 21 and 22 at a cost of $16.
Students will develop a functional landscape plan of your own, including plant selection and placement. Drafting instruments will be provided. Call 437-8780.
– This weekend, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. are your last two chances to see the Best Off Broadway Players` production of ”South Pacific” at Cutting Hall in Palatine. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and students. Call 438-0777 for tickets.
