Police are searching for a gunman who robbed Savings of America, 6115 S. Pulaski Rd., of more than $4,000. The robbery occurred at about 3 p.m. Monday when the man brandished a handgun and demanded money from a teller, said Brighton Park Police Sgt. Fred Bonke. The robber also demanded money from another teller before fleeing in a stolen 1989 Hyundai. The car was recovered at 61st Street and Springfield Avenue minutes after the robbery, Bonke said.
