A West Side man pleaded guilty Tuesday to forgery for selling 50 counterfeit RTA bus passes in 1989. George Tidwell, 40, of 4253 W. Walton St., was sentenced to two years of probation and fined $1,500 by Judge James Bailey of Cook County Criminal Court, according to Assistant State`s Atty. Durman Jackson.
