Holy Cross Catholic Church, Deerfield, was the setting for the May 27 wedding of Kathryn Mary Cielak and James Edward Dixon.
Rev. Anthony Pizzo, a cousin of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.
The bride, an Arizona State University graduate, is a graduate student at DePaul University.
Her parents are John and Vivian Cielak of Riverwoods. Her father is president of Selco Tool & Selco Industries, Schiller Park. Her mother is a homemaker.
The bridegroom, also an Arizona State graduate, owns a dry cleaners and laundromat in Schaumburg.
His parents are Edward and Judith Dixon of Phoenix, Ariz. Her father is a principal buyer for Honeywell Corp. His mother is a secretary for Greenway High School, Glendale, Ariz.
After a reception at the Four Seasons Hotel, the couple took a wedding trip to the Greek Islands.
They live in Chicago.
