Mack tender offer opens: Renault Vehicules Industriels S.A., the industrial vehicle subsidiary of Regie Nationale des Usines Renault, began a $6-a-share cash tender offer for all outstanding common shares of Mack Trucks Inc. of Allentown, Pa. The offer is scheduled to expire Aug. 8.
