Jurors in the federal drug conspiracy trial of Calumet City policeman Russell Larson and co-defendant Terri Miller adjourned late Wednesday after reaching one unannounced verdict in the case.

The jurors said they had reached one verdict but were undecided on the other. No names were mentioned. Chief U.S. District Judge James Moran told the jury to resume deliberations Thursday.

Larson and Miller are charged with conspiracy in connection with allegations of a south suburban cocaine ring that allegedly was based in Calumet City in the mid-1980s and operated by the late Sam Mann, a convicted drug dealer.
