Family trims bank holdings: CBS Inc. Chairman Laurence Tisch and his family cut their holdings in Shawmut National Corp. to 4.4 percent from 5 percent, the third banking investment they have reduced this month. The family already had trimmed its holdings of Chicago-based Continental Bank Corp. and Bank of Boston Corp.
