A man accused of firing a gun into the air as a police car drove by his apartment building was arrested on three criminal charges Sunday night, Elgin police said.
Guillermo Mundo, 22, of 1170 Apple Lane, was charged with aggravated discharge of a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon and failing to have a firearm owner`s identification card, police reported. He is to appear in Cook County Circuit Court on May 30.
