County Board member Wallace Brown (R-Downers Grove) told about 50 members of the Du Page Area Association of Business and Industry, meeting Wednesday in Lisle, that he was steadfast in his desire for some return to all county taxpayers from a commercial development plan that appears to benefit only West Chicago.
Brown reiterated his support for the airport expansion effort and said he found no fault with West Chicago`s annexation of the entire airport. But he said all county taxpayers, not just those in West Chicago, should have first claim on sales tax revenue and other profits generated from the Du Page Airport Authority`s commercial development.
