Louis D. Plesha, 79, a template maker in the electromotive division of General Motors, died Thursday at La Grange Memorial Hospital. Mr. Plesha, a Summit resident for 50 years, also played semiprofessional baseball and football and was active in sports. He is survived by his wife, Mary; a son, Edward; two daughters, Pauline Kravish and Kathleen Harpster; a brother; two sisters; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday at Ridge-Sobiesk Funeral Home, 6039 S. Archer Rd., Summit. Mass for Mr. Plesha will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5614 S. 72nd Ct., Summit.
