A woman accused of shoplifting jewelry was arrested for retail theft Monday evening, according to Elgin police. Linda L. Serna, 31, 2 Brookstone Ct., Streamwood, allegedly took five rings worth $67 from Osco Drugs, 822 Summit Ave. Serna is to appear in Cook County Circuit Court on Sept. 11.
