Construction is under way at the Hunt Club, a 166-lot subdivision in southwest suburban Shorewood.
Edward Mattox, president of Joliet-based Kipling Development, the developer, and Shorewood mayor Bertha Hofer attended the recent groundbreaking at the site, located at River Road and U.S. Highway 52.
Lots of 1/4 to 3/4 acre are priced from $33,500. Home/lot packages range from $150,000 to $225,000.
Phase 1 of the development will include 66 lots. Model homes are planned to be built and be ready for viewing by next April.
