The Cook County assessor`s office has scheduled a series of sessions for Saturday to help homeowners in the Edgewater, Uptown, Lake View and Lincoln Park neighborhoods understand their new assessments and provide help in filing appeals.
Assessor employees will be available at four locations from 9 a.m. until noon as well as at the assessor`s office in the Loop at 118 N. Clark St. and in Skokie at 5600 W. Old Orchard Rd.
The four other locations are Aetna Bank, 2401 N. Halsted St.; First Chicago Bank branches at 3335 N. Ashland Ave. and 4725 N. Western Ave.; and Simpson Hall of Loyola University Living/Learning Center, 6333 N. Winthrop Ave.
