A Cook County Circuit Court judge on Thursday upheld the $1 million bonds given a couple charged with killing a 2-year-old girl by beating her and burning her with boiling water.
Sadie Williams, 22, and her boyfriend, Clifford Baker, 30, appeared before Judge Robert Bastone for a bond hearing for the March 16 killing of Saonnia Bolden, who died of blunt trauma injuries, according to Assistant State`s Atty. Kathy Kavanagh.
