The future bride has a bachelor`s degree in psychology from Saint Xavier College and a master`s degree in counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. She is a social worker for the 3rd District Circuit Court of Cook County.
Her father is a Realtor. Her mother, the late Dr. Paula M. Newberg, was a criminologist and college professor.
The future bridegroom has a bachelor`s degree from Northwestern University and a master`s degree in industrial relations from Loyola University. He is director of human resources at the Chicago accounting firm of Ernst & Young.
His father is a retired director of auditing at Amoco Oil Co. His mother is a retired surgical nurse.
A November wedding is planned.
