General Employment Enterprises Inc. reduced its net loss to $205,000 in the first quarter of 1992 from $610,000 for the year-earlier period. Revenues fell 19 percent, to $2.6 million from $3.2 million.

Herbert F. Imhoff, chairman and president, said the loss was reduced by

”aggressive cost-cutting, staff reductions and unprofitable agency closings.” The Oakbrook Terrace-based firm has 24 permanent placement offices in the United States, down from 31 a year before.
