A person who has extensive knowledge of electrical work is suspected of stealing three electric meters installed at 399 E. Center Ave. by a Commonwealth Edison Co. employee, police said. Several other meters installed in the village by the same employee also have been stolen, said Chief Fred Day. The meters, valued at $100 each, were removed without force in the last month, he said.
