Charges were pending against a 16-year-old Downers Grove boy who has admitted to snatching a purse from a woman who was window-shopping Tuesday in the 5100 block of Main Street. The purse, minus the $33 it contained, was recovered after the youth led officers to a trash bin near Curtiss and Washington Streets, where he had disposed of it, police said. The juvenile was released to his parents pending a court appearance.
