A car fire that triggered an explosion early Friday in the 200 block of McLean Boulevard remained under investigation Monday, authorities said. Fire officials said they believe that an accelerant was used to start the fire. One firefighter suffered a minor injury when a fragment fired by the explosion struck him in the finger, officials said.
