The Village Board on Monday awarded a contract for the demolition of a vacant apartment building at 4241 Lindenwood Drive to Action Wrecking of Chicago Heights for $12,900.
Village administrator Ralph Coglianese said the building, which has been vacant at least three years, has been the site of several break-ins and is deteriorating.
