The Navy Department awarded financially strapped Trans World Airlines a multiyear heavy-maintenance contract that could be worth almost $200 million over five years. The contract is for repairs on 29 Navy and 23 Air Force C-9/DC-9 aircraft. The work is to be done at Kansas City.
