FOR 6 HOURS, PACE FARES WILL DROP TO JUST A PENNY

Pace, the suburban bus service, will offer New Year’s Eve rides for a penny from 10 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday on all Pace routes that are in service during that time period.

The routes in service at that time, according to Mindy Laflamme, Pace spokeswoman, include:

– 270, mostly on Milwaukee Avenue from Niles to the Glenview-Northbrook area;

– 308, Loyola Medical Center, Maywood, to CTA Congress line at Des Plaines Avenue in Forest Park;

– 322, Cermak Road from Yorktown Mall to Harlem Avenue;

– 332, Oak Brook to Bensenville and Schiller Park on Cermak Road, York Road, and Irving Park;
