Police charged a 17-year-old Libertyville youth with theft after he tried to refund two pairs of pants at Sears, Roebuck & Co., 3 Hawthorn Center, for which he allegedly did not pay. Police said John Grossman, of 420 Dawes St., was apprehended by store security after he allegedly received a $93 refund for the pants.
