A red Toro riding lawn mower, valued at $2,800, was removed overnight Monday from the back-yard shed of a residence in the 4 N 300 block of Chateaugay Court in Elburn. Police said it appeared the offenders also attempted to remove a snowmobile, which was found between the shed and the house.
