The technology plan for students attending Richmond-Burton High School will be presented to parents at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at the school.

The Technology Committee, comprised of citizens and members of the faculty, developed the plan, which will “engage students in the learning process, using contemporary technology to gather information and problem solve, and to motivate students to higher learning levels,” according to a letter sent to parents in the district.

Parents at the meeting will observe Richmond-Burton students using the Internet and CD-ROM’s. They will also visit the technology lab.

Changes in the instructional program for the high school students that the Technology Committee recommends include Internet training and access in every classroom; electronic publishing classes; and automating the library.
