A task force for South Park School will present its decision on boundary changes to the Elementary School District 109 board when it meets Monday night.
The task force will recommend that all pupils who attend South Park will eventually go to Caruso Junior High School.
Any pupil who lives in the area east of Birchwood Avenue and south of Central Avenue would continue to choose between Shepard and Caruso Junior High Schools until June 1, 2002. The last group of pupils who would have a choice would be next year’s kindergarten class.
The community will have a chance to respond to the task force’s recommendation at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Kipling School, 700 Kipling Pl. The board is expected to act April 28.
