A man threw a firebomb at a judge during a medical malpractice trial in Urbana Tuesday, causing an explosion that slightly injured four people. A suspect was in custody. The man walked into the courtroom at the Champaign County Courthouse in Urbana with a bottle filled with liquid, lighted the rag sticking out of the top, threw it at the bench and ran, said Abra Bonnell, a juror. Circuit Judge George Miller suffered minor scalp wounds and was expected to be treated and released, said Gretchen Robbins, a Carle Hospital spokeswoman. Miller was hurt while diving under the bench. Three others were treated at the scene.
