Residents who wish to install overhead sanitary sewers on their properties can be reimbursed by the village and county, thanks to a vote of the Village Board.
The Village has designated certain areas within the village that have a history of sewer backup problems as eligible for reimbursement.
Other residents may be allowed to join the cost-sharing program if they can prove they have had excessive sewer backup problems.
