An Aurora man was being held Monday in lieu of $200,000 bail at the police lockup, a day after he allegedly stabbed a man in the knee and cut him behind the ear with a pocketknife during a fight at Lampliter tavern, 35 W. New York St. Ceferino Perez, 51, of 1329 N. Lake St. was charged with aggravated battery. He was arrested outside the tavern immediately following the fight. The injured man received 37 stitches to his left knee and an unidentified number behind his ear at Mercy Center for Health Care Services, from which he was released immediately following his treatment.
