Police said they charged a 28-year-old Northbrook man with theft Thursday after he left Ulta 3, 130 S. Waukegan Rd., without paying for a $35 bottle of perfume. Miguel Garcia of 830 Bach St. was caught by the store manager with perfume in his coat pocket after the merchandise triggered an alarm, police said. The manager detained Garcia until police arrived.
