Glaxo hails test of new migraine drug: Glaxo Wellcome PLC said a clinical trial of its new migraine treatment Naramig showed the drug appeared to work better than Imigran, Glaxo’s best-selling migraine treatment. The study found patients using the newer drug “experienced similar 24-hour overall treatment success” to Imigran yet demonstrated less headache recurrence. Analysts said that British-based Glaxo will have to be careful when it markets Naramig so as not to cut into sales of Imigran.
