Allied Products Corp. announced that its Verson division at 1355 E. 93rd street has received a major order from General Motors to design and build a series of large metal forming presses. Richard Drexler, chairman, president and chief executive of Chicago-based Allied Products, said the order will boost the company’s profitability into the next century.
