After nearly 4 months of searching, the Kane County Forest Preserve District has found a manager for the district’s Events and Cultural Center, district President Jack Cook (R-Elgin) said.
AnnMarie Fauske of Aurora begins work Thursday at the Events Center which includes Elfstrom Stadium in Geneva, home of the Kane County Cougars baseball team.
Fauske, a graduate of Illinois State University with an extensive background in marketing, has worked for the Paramount Arts Centre; the North Island Center and Copley Theater; and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago.
She succeeds Harris Kal, who resigned in December.
