Moore Corp.’s Lake Forest-based Moore U.S.A. unit signed a five-year, $100 million sole-source contract with MedEcon, a health-care purchasing provider, to provide MedEcon members with print and digital technologies and services. Moore said that under the agreement, it will provide members of Louisville-based MedEcon with print and electronic-document technology for clinical and administrative applications. Moore said the contract guarantees reduction of MedEcon’s members’ overall business communications costs associated with their print and electronic documents. MedEcon negotiates volume discounts with suppliers on behalf of its 4,500 member hospitals and alternate care facilities.
