The board of Harper Community College will begin deciding this week which areas of the campus will be renovated.
One-third of the 847,000 square feet of floor space at Harper needs to be renovated, according to the Long-Range Space Planning Committee.
The board and administration are also trying to find more space in the 30-year-old college to accommodate a growing population. One suggestion is to construct connections between the college’s buildings and using the connecting space for classes.
