Robert G. Grist, 87, former owner and operator of Grist Greens in Bensenville, died Friday in his Belvidere home. Mr. Grist, formerly of Wood Dale, was born in Philadelphia. He operated the wholesale florist business for 40 years before retiring and leaving the business to his son, Robert. Besides his son, survivors include a daughter, Patricia Louise Freeman; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday in Belvidere Funeral Home, 203 Logan Ave., Belvidere. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
