Oak Forest police have charged two men with felony home invasion for allegedly forcing their way into an apartment and shooting one of its residents after robbing him.
Police said charged late Tuesday were A.J. Bibbs, 21, of 3064 Western Ave., Park Forest; and Marcus Luckey, 22, of 1033 Brampton Ct., University Park. Bibbs also was charged with felony aggravated battery with a firearm and armed robbery. Both were being held Wednesday on bond.
Police said the attack occurred Saturday in the 15300 block of South Kilpatrick Avenue. They said that three men known to the couple living in the apartment arrived there wearing clear masks that apparently did not disguise their identities.
Police said the men were armed with guns and pushed their way into the home, demanding money and drugs. Before fleeing, one of them shot the male resident in the arm, police said. They said the third suspect was being sought Wednesday.
