Presidential Timbers: Northern Trust Corp. said that Stephen B. Timbers will become president of Northern Trust Global Investments, a new position, on Feb 23. Most recently Timbers was president and chief executive of Zurich Kemper Investments, advisor to the Kemper Funds. He also had been president and chief operating officer of Kemper Corp. He will assume responsibility for Northern’s investment businesses.
