Three area residents have been appointed to the staff of the Northern Illinois Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse.
Lori Baker of Fox Grove is now a prevention specialist in the NICASA Round Lake building. Baker is NICASA’s liaison with InTouch at the College of Lake County. InTouch is a union of NICASA, the Lake County Health Department and CLC.
Edgardo Sampen of Waukegan is a bilingual counselor at the Waukegan facility.
Cheryl Lewis of Round Lake has been appointed as an administrative assistant at the NICASA Prairie View building.
NICASA is a not-for-profit agency that operates facilities in Prairie View, Round Lake, Waukegan and North Chicago.
