A 29-year-old Harvard man is being held on $3,000 bond after he was arrested for an alleged sexual attack of his former girlfriend.
Jose D. Cordova-Martinez, of 204 1/2 S. Ayer St., was charged with criminal sexual abuse, domestic battery and criminal damage to property, said Crystal Lake Deputy Chief Howard Parth.
Cordova-Martinez allegedly went to his former girlfriend’s home late Friday and grabbed her by the throat and arms, Parth said.
“By force he committed an act of sexual conduct with her,” Parth added.
Cordova-Martinez also broke a bedroom door by forcing it open during the incident, Parth said.
