Lucy B. Pfeiffer, 91, of Fox River Grove, a homemaker, died Wednesday in Fountains of Crystal Lake nursing home. Mrs. Pfeiffer was born in Posen, Germany, and moved to the U.S. with her family when she was 5 years old. She worked briefly as a secretary for RCA during the Depression. Mrs. Pfeiffer lived in Chicago for years before moving to Fox River Grove in 1956. Survivors include her daughter, Diane; and two sisters, Charlotte Triebold and Vera Arnold. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Stirlen-Pieper & Davenport Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St., Barrington.
