A 19-year-old Aurora man was in fair condition Monday at Rush-Copley Medical Center, a day after he was shot in the arm and thigh after leaving the gas station shop at 1050 E. New York St. Nicholas D. Cain told police he had just left the shop when about eight shots were fired from across the street. Another man in a car in which Cain was a passenger was not injured. Police found six 9 mm shell casings near a parking lot across the street from the incident.
