An 18-year-old Downers Grove man was arrested Saturday after allegedly calling police to report that his girlfriend had taken too much heroin, police said. Daniel J. Blonn of 5715 Fairmount Ave. was arrested in a room at Homestead Village Inn, 855 Pasquinelli Drive, and charged with possession of heroin and possession of a hypodermic syringe, police said. The 18-year-old woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.
