A 34-year-old man shot himself in the finger Monday while cleaning his .25-caliber semiautomatic pistol at his house in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue, police said. He took the gun apart to clean it and when he assembled it, a bullet fired and passed through his finger. He was taken to Sherman Hospital where he was treated and released.
